KICKSTART AND TITMOUSE ENTER STRATEGIC PRODUCTION PARTNERSHIP

LOS ANGELES (January 29, 2012) – Kickstart and Titmouse announced a strategic partnership to produce animated television programming and films. The collaboration maximizes the creative strengths of both companies, and in turn creates more production efficiencies for clients and partners worldwide.  With Kickstart offices in Los Angeles and Vancouver and Titmouse offices in Los Angeles and New York, the union will expand artist talent pools and production capabilities.  Moreover, Vancouver offers labor tax incentives as well as the opportunities to join co-production relationships that qualify under the Canadian co-production treaties, which both production companies can benefit from.  The agreement was announced today by Kickstart’s Jason Netter.

“Kickstart and Titmouse have worked together for over 10 years, “ says Netter.  “This collaboration will combine the top artists from both studios, making us a greater force to be reckon with.”

 “I like to make cartoons, and I like making them with Kickstart,” says Chris Prynoski of Titmouse.  “In Canada they like to drink booze as much as us American animators. That’s okay in my book.  It makes the picture drawing better.”

Kickstart recently produced “Voltron Force,” “Wolverine and The X-Men,” and “Speed Racer.” 

Titmouse is currently in series production on “Metalocalypse,” “Venture Brothers,” “Superjail!,” “Motorcity,” “Black Dynamite” and other TV, video game and commercial projects.

Netter negotiated the deal on behalf of Kickstart and Prynoski on behalf of Titmouse.
