“I like to make cartoons, and I like making them with Kickstart,” says Chris Prynoski of Titmouse. “In Canada they like to drink booze as much as us American animators. I don't know if you've heard of it, but it's called the "San Diego Comic-Con" and Voltron was there with bells on, and so were we. (Okay, maybe not literally wearing bells.)

There was a Thursday evening panel for Voltron Force in the Hilton Ballroom, with lots of interesting tidbits being leaked by panelists including our good buds, Voltron Force supervising producer Jeremy Corray and executive producer Bob Koplar. One major revelation that they unleashed on the Voltron-loving masses? The Voltron Live-Action Movie is officially a go! Dynatherms are being connected by Relativity Media and Atlas Entertainment, with Kickstart's own Jason Netter on as a producer.

If you were at the con last week, hope you got a glimpse of the big man himself on the main floor at the Mattel display, and if you didn't get an autograph, don't feel bad. It's hard to sign your name when you've got giant robot lions for hands.

I don't know if you've heard yet, but we've got some pretty awesome news about the premiere of Voltron Force, one of the shows we're currently working on.

It debuted on June 16th, with a three-part 90 minute special called "The New Defenders Trilogy," and it sounds like people were pretty into it, because when the ratings were released we found out it was the highest-rated series premiere that Nicktoons has ever had!

Now that's pretty great!

If you were one of the plenty that tuned in, you probably already know that you can keep catching new episodes of Voltron Force on Nicktoons: Thursday Nights at 8:30PM Eastern Standard Time.

And, for the uninitiated, you can catch up on the episodes that have aired at Nicktoons.com!
